Villa for Rent in Fujairah: What to Know Before You Book
By Al Dana Villas Fujairah9 min read

Yes, you can find a villa for rent in Fujairah for a short group stay, and ours sit on the beach at Al Dana Island in Sharm. This guide covers how much space your group needs and what the nightly price includes. It also sets out a simple plan for a 2-night break. If you'd like to look at the homes first, here are our beachfront villas to rent in Fujairah.
Renting a villa in Fujairah: the short answer
The villas are on Al Dana Island, Sharm, on the road to Dibba. That puts them about 8 km south of Dadna and 15 km north of Khor Fakkan. Sharm Beach is 1 minute away, with direct access.
Each villa has between 3 and 6 bedrooms, and most have a private pool. There's also a 9-bedroom farm villa for very large groups.
Prices are per night + VAT. We don't print rates in this article because the site shows the current figure for each villa, and that's the number you should plan around. One habit that helps groups: take the nightly rate, add the VAT, then divide by the number of people coming. It's a much clearer figure to share in the group chat than the total.
Who rents a villa here, and for how long
Here's what our own booking records show. They describe our guests only, so treat them as a picture of who stays with us rather than a survey of Fujairah as a whole.
The typical group is 6 people. The typical stay is 2 nights, and 90% of stays are one or two nights long. So if you're planning a weekend with five friends or family members, that's the booking we see most often.
Bigger groups are common too. 44% of our stays have 7 or more guests. At the other end, about 23% are solo guests.
About 4 in 10 stays come from guests who live in the UAE, and India is the next largest group at 15%. (We only know the home country for around 73% of stays, so the real mix may be a little different.) August is our busiest check-in month, followed by December and then July.
What does that mean for you? If your plan is a short weekend stay with a group of around 6, you're the guest these villas are set up for. If you're coming alone or as a couple, keep reading, because a villa may be more space than you need.
Choosing the right villa size for your group
Start with the beds, not the headcount. Six people can mean three couples, or two parents with four children, or six friends who each want their own room. Those groups need different villas.
For a group of 6, the best fit is usually a 3-bedroom villa with an assistant's room. It sleeps up to 7, which leaves one spare place if a seventh person joins late. You can read more in our guide to 3-bedroom villas in Fujairah.
If your group is larger, this is how the other sizes work out:
- 4-bedroom villas sleep 7 to 11
- 5-bedroom villas sleep 10
- 6-bedroom villas sleep 14
- The 9-bedroom farm villa sleeps 19
The 4-bedroom range is wide, so check the listing for the exact villa you like. A group of 8 might fit one 4-bedroom villa comfortably and find another a squeeze.
A small tip from experience: if two people in your group are light sleepers or early risers, give them the rooms first and plan the rest around them. It saves a lot of swapping on the first night.
Villa or apartment?
A villa makes sense when the group wants to be under one roof with its own outdoor space. With a private pool at most villas and a full kitchen, you can spend a good part of the weekend without going anywhere.
But a villa isn't always the right call. Most of our bookings are actually apartments. For a couple, a solo traveller or a small party of two or three, an apartment is usually the more sensible size, and the site lists those as well.
What the nightly price covers
This is the question groups ask most, so here is the site's "What's included" list as it stands, along with the extras its FAQ adds:
- Private pool (at most villas)
- Beach access
- Full kitchen
- Daily housekeeping
- Free Wi-Fi
- Covered parking
- Gated security
- Fresh bed linen and towels
- Air conditioning
Daily housekeeping matters more than people expect on a short stay. With six people sharing a kitchen for two days, it's nice not to spend Saturday evening on the dishes.
What should you check before you book? First, whether the villa you've chosen has a private pool, since most do but not all. Second, the bedroom count and the sleeping capacity against your group. We don't cover extra charges or deposit terms in this article, so read the terms on the site before you pay. That's where the current details live.
Private pool villas
On a 2-night stay, a private pool changes how the weekend runs. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, so most groups arrive in the afternoon, drop their bags and are in the water within the hour. Then there's the next full day, and the last morning before check-out at 11:00 AM.
And because the pool belongs to your villa, there's no sharing it with other guests. Children can splash around while the adults sit nearby. Or the group can stay out after dinner.
To find one, check each villa's listing on the site. Most villas have a private pool, so you'll have plenty to choose from, but it's worth confirming on the exact villa before booking. Our post on villas with a private pool goes into more detail.
We don't make promises about water temperature or pool conditions on a given date. If that matters to your group, ask when you send your enquiry.
Need it for just one day?
We get this question often. The short answer is no: the site doesn't offer day-use or one-day rentals. It lists nightly, weekend and long-term monthly stays.
So a single night is the closest option. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM, which gives you an afternoon, an evening and a morning at the villa.
Early arrival or late departure is possible only if you ask when you book and other bookings allow it. Please don't plan a day around it until it's confirmed. Our post on renting a villa for one day explains the options for very short visits.
What to do nearby during a 2-night stay
Here's a simple plan that fits the times above. Swap the days around if it suits your group better.
First afternoon and evening
Arrive after 3:00 PM and settle in. Sharm Beach is 1 minute away with direct access, so a walk down to the sand is the easy first outing. In the evening, the full kitchen means the group can cook together at the villa, then sit out by the pool.
The full day
This is the day for getting out. A few places are close by, according to the drive times on our site:
- Le Méridien Al Aqah, 6 minutes
- Snoopy Island, 8 minutes
- Al Bidya Mosque, 15 minutes
- Khor Fakkan, 20 minutes
- Fujairah City and Fujairah Fort, 35 minutes
With a group of 6, it's easier to pick one or two of these than to try them all. A morning visit to Al Bidya Mosque pairs well with an afternoon back at the villa. If the group wants a longer outing, Fujairah City and the Fort are the furthest on the list at 35 minutes, so give that trip a good part of the day.
Then come back for a swim before dinner.
The last morning
Keep it slow. A swim, breakfast in the kitchen, then pack up for check-out by 11:00 AM. If you'd like more time, ask about late departure when you book.
The things-to-do page on our site has more ideas if your group wants a busier itinerary.
How to book and what to check first
When you're ready to rent a villa in Fujairah, these steps keep it simple:
- Settle your dates and your final number of guests.
- Match the group to a villa size using the sleeping capacities above.
- Check the "What's included" list, and confirm the villa you like has a private pool if that's a must.
- Read the terms on the site. That's the place for current rates and the booking conditions.
- Book.
For step 5, you can book direct by tapping Reserve on the site or by sending an enquiry. You can also call or WhatsApp us on 04 392 0202. The site's own wording is that reserving with us directly "always gets you the best rate", with "no middleman". If you prefer a booking platform you already use, that works too. Just read the listing's terms there as well.
If you need an early arrival or a late departure, mention it at this stage. It can only be arranged if you ask when you book and other bookings allow it.
Settle the headcount first
The most common mix-up we see is a group that books for 6 and arrives with 8. Sleeping capacity is fixed for each villa, so confirm the final number with everyone before you choose. Once that's done, pick your villa on the site and send your dates.
Questions and answers
Are there villas available to rent in Fujairah for a weekend?
Yes, the site lists weekend stays alongside nightly and long-term monthly ones. We can't promise a particular weekend is free, so check your dates on the villa page or send an enquiry. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Can I rent a villa with a private pool in Fujairah?
Yes. Most of our villas on Al Dana Island have a private pool, but not every one does. Check the listing for the villa you're interested in before you book.
How many people can stay in a Fujairah villa?
It depends on the villa. A 3-bedroom villa with an assistant's room sleeps up to 7, and 4-bedroom villas sleep 7 to 11. 5-bedroom villas sleep 10, 6-bedroom villas sleep 14, and the 9-bedroom farm villa sleeps 19.
Is a Fujairah villa stay good for a short 1 to 2 night break?
Most of our guests think so. The typical stay with us is 2 nights, and 90% of stays are one or two nights long. With the beach 1 minute away and several sights within a short drive, two nights gives a group time for both.
What is included in the nightly rate?
The site's included list covers a private pool at most villas, beach access, a full kitchen and daily housekeeping. It also lists free Wi-Fi, covered parking and gated security. The FAQ adds fresh bed linen, towels and air conditioning.
Is a villa in Fujairah suitable for couples as well as groups?
The villas are sized for groups, and even the smallest option sleeps up to 7. A couple can book one, but an apartment is usually a better fit for two people. The site lists apartments for smaller parties and solo guests.
